A pellet gun-toting vandal is believed to have shot up at least 12 transit shelters in London, with damage pegged at $9,600.
Nearly one in 10 transit shelters in London were shot up bythis pellet gun-toting vandal -- the worst damage the head of London Transit has ever seen.
Ducharme,the head of London Transit, said the transit commission had received reports of damage to as many as 28 shelters, all in the north or northeast part of the city.
"This is extraordinary. This is the exception to the rule," Ducharme said.
Police pegged the damage to the 12 shelters at $9,600.
"It appears as though this was a senseless act of vandalism," Const. Amanda Pfeffer (local officer) said.
